Motorola razr’s innovative hardware ushered a new era of smartphones on the forefront of the foldable revolution. But hardware isn’t the only area of focus – we know software can bring unlimited benefits to this new form factor, too. That’s why we created a state-of-the-art software experience with our totally unique Quick View display, enabling a new way of interacting with your phone.
Razr owners love razr’s utility, versatility, and ability to keep them in the loop without pulling them away. Razr’s upgrade to Android 10 provides a streamlined new look and feel while significantly improving and expanding the Quick View display functionality, providing an unparalleled foldable experience built on consumer feedback.
quicker options for keeping in touch
Give your favorite contacts a ring without opening your phone – just swipe left on the Quick View display to access your favorite contacts.* Keeping in touch is easier than ever now that you’re able to read and respond to messages from the most popular messaging apps with new Smart Reply or the new Quick View keyboard.
new ways to snap a selfie
We’ve expanded razr’s front-facing Quick View camera features to allow you to capture selfies in even more ways when the device is closed, including more camera modes like Group Selfie, Portrait Mode, Spot Color, and others. Accessing your camera is just a simple swipe away, too. When your razr is closed and unlocked, open the camera by swiping right or by using Quick Capture with a twist of the wrist.
more apps at your fingertips
With Android 10, we’re offering more functionality and compatibility with the apps you use most. Now you can access turn-by-turn navigation from Google Maps and music players from your favorite music apps like Spotify, YouTube Music, and Pandora all from the Quick View display. And speaking of more options, you can also use the Quick View display to show off more of your personal style with new themes.
We’ve already set the bar for external displays on a foldable device, but we’re moving it even higher. As we push the boundaries of innovation with foldable devices, we’ll continue to prioritize and improve the experience on our Quick View display for the most intuitive, enjoyable, and seamless experience possible.
Android 10 begins to roll out on razr globally today, May 11th. Stay tuned for local availability.
*Feature currently available in the U.S. only, with availability in countries outside the U.S. expected by software update sometime in May 2020.
