Attend the virtual summit to learn how.
I’ve just spent the months of May and June in CA’s New York City headquarters as part of my new role as CA’s Global Chief Privacy Strategist. As I head back to Europe and having California just pass a privacy law, I thought it would be a good time to share some observations regarding the US privacy landscape. Will the US move towards a US GDPR? If not, what are some of the potential alternatives? One basic observation I want to share is that I don’t believe a privacy status quo is feasible in the short to medium term and discuss how industry and government can chart a path forward. These thoughts are personal. I close with some US privacy predictions, just for fun, meant to stimulate ongoing debate and hopefully provoke some feedback.
